HCL Sametime Forum : Audio and Webcam under Sametime 8.0.1

Hello all,

I have tested the Sametime 8.0.1 Standard version for web conference feature although there were some problems during it.

The scenario is that I installed a Sametime 8.0.1 Standard on Lotus Domino 8.0.1. The Sametime works on Lotus Notes Client. After that I configured web cam and audio on two PC.

Then I tried to access sametime web conference and schedule a meeting. In the meeting, both users can view themselves in "My Video" and can use microphone. These features are enabled.

Although it is impossible for two users to view each others under "Current Speaker". I tried to pause "My Video" and lower down the speed. It still the same. I tried this on both internet and LAN environment with faster speed but nothing can be done on this issue.

One interesting thing is that when I tried to invite another user under video tab. It shows that they don't have equipments like webcam, microphone. It displays "tool is not available" when I tried to add user in video conference.

I already disable firewall in both clients and Sametime server. The result is the same.

Would anyone knows what is the problem about that ? Long long ago I remembered that I tried on Sametime 7.5 or older version. The video conference works as expected. For Sametime version 8. I don't know why it happens.
